User Data Deletion Instructions

You may request deletion of personal information and connected social-media data held by EYAMI EDIT (PTY) LTD.

Option 1: Request deletion from Eyami Edit

  1. Email [email protected] with the subject line “Data Deletion Request”.
  2. Include the email address used for your Eyami Edit account and, if applicable, your connected Instagram username.
  3. Tell us whether you want your Instagram connection removed, specific information deleted or your full Eyami Edit account deleted.
  4. We may ask for limited additional information to verify that you control the account.
  5. We will confirm receipt and process the verified request within a reasonable period, subject to information we must retain by law or for legitimate security, fraud-prevention, dispute or backup purposes.

Option 2: Revoke Instagram or Meta access

You may remove Eyami Edit's access through your Instagram or Meta account's Apps and Websites or connected-app settings. Instagram's access-management page is currently available at https://www.instagram.com/accounts/manage_access/.

Revoking access should prevent future authorised access through that connection. It may not automatically delete your Eyami Edit profile, collections, product information or other information already stored by Eyami Edit. For complete account deletion, also follow Option 1.

What deletion may include

Information that may be retained

We may retain limited records where required by law or reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal claims, dispute resolution and system backups. Retained information will remain protected and will not be used for unrelated purposes. Aggregated or properly de-identified information that no longer identifies a person may also be retained.
